As Teyvat continues to expand, Genshin Impact’s list of gadgets continues to grow as well. With so many useful tools at your disposal, you may find yourself constantly switching between them while exploring the open world or in the middle of a heated battle.
There is nothing more boring to me than going through the motions of opening a backpack and clicking so many buttons just to change gadgets, but luckily there is a shortcut to simplify the process.
How to change gadgets without opening the backpack in Genshin Impact

Start by opening the gadget inventory. You’ll find a lightning bolt button called Quick Swap at the bottom left of the screen. Click on it to configure the widgets you want to have on hand.

You can select up to four widgets at a time. These will show the ones you can trade in the field. You’ll need to use the backpack to activate gadgets outside of the four you choose, but you can change them at any time. Once you’ve decided, click Confirm at the bottom right of the screen.

Now that your Quick Swap menu is set up, you can start using the feature in the open world. Simply click and hold the Gadget button (Z for PC), then select the gadget you want to equip by clicking the icon on the mobile phone or clicking the corresponding numbered button on the PC. This way you can hold up to four gadgets at a time and switch between them without opening the backpack.
